The Department of Neurology is staffed by four full-time hospital-based Board-Certified neurologists and several more on the visiting staff. Two full-time neuroradiologists are provided by the Department of Radiology for consultation and special procedures. Additionally, three adult neurology clinics are held weekly, and adult neurologic consultation rounds are held daily.
The Department of Neurology is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases of the nervous system. We service a New York State Department of Health designated 10 bed Stroke Center.

The department uses state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography as well as electromyography and electroencephalography to diagnose neurological disorders.
