The Digestive Health Center includes a full range of state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment
procedures for such ailments as:

Services provided by the Center include:
Wireless capsule endoscopy: tiny ingested capsule-contained camera transmits images to a monitor
ERCP procedures requiring fluoroscopy: images of the pancreatic and gallbladder ducts are provided by a special endoscope
Motlity: include the most sophisticated diagnostic tests including esophageal 24-hour motility and pH studies, and anal motility, EMG and biofeedback equipment provides evaluation of the esophagus recommended when a patient is having the following symptoms:
The Liver Unit participates in nationwide trials for new and evolving treatment of viral hepatitis. This provides an access to our patients to state-of-the art therapies as well as new and investigational treatments. Working with department of Radiology, and the Liver Transplant Centers in New York, the Liver Unit provides treatment for patients with advanced liver disease and refers selected candidates for evaluation for possible liver transplantation. The Liver Disease Unit screens and treats liver conditions including:

Autoimmune Hepatitis
Liver tumors
Advanced liver disease
Nutrition
Assessment of the gastrointestinal and liver risks of obesity and counseling on management of these risks through appropriate testing, nutritional counseling and, if necessary, evaluation and referral for Bariatric Surgery is provided.
